Mental health

“   Wonder, if I get even a single moment of pleasure! What am I not doing for the house? Apart from attending job, managing the household chores, and also cooking food. Irritated with the dilemma of if to continue the job and take care of house or just take care of the house, feel like going to the Himalayas”

      “No one tries to understand my problem. Time management is a big issue because of this job in an IT company. I agree that I must exercise daily, but have no time to do so.”

“Presently, the market is being unstable, petrol prices have increased, electricity rates have boosted up, vegetables and grocery is expensive, gas cylinder would be more costly. This is a horrifying situation. One just fails to understand how to cope up with all this!“

 

“Unable to understand what to do, but nowadays I am under tension.  Constant tension and hectic schedule has irritated me a lot.”

 

       Similar sort of reactions are heard from all the nooks and levels of the society. Human life is irritated facing the daily routine, handling problems in their busy life style, unexpected events and stress. News channel, newspapers often focus on different events, accidents, murders, scandals, financial frauds, corruption, political scams, and public movement. While watching, reading and experiencing similar occurrences like these, the overall human approach to look at life has become pessimistic.

 

      Various types of negativities, irritation, loneliness, ignorance, grief, depressions, stress, insults and problems faced at different stages of life that include childhood, teenage, youth, living life as a bachelor, after marriage, after accepting the responsibility of the family, adulthood, senior citizenship and even at old age. No one, not a single living being has escaped all this. Hence, whenever an individual comes across such negative feelings, one diverts his / her attention towards studying horoscope, tarot reading, religious rituals, meditation, following saints, holy people, fasting, donations and tries to get rid of such negative feelings and focuses on courses like Art Of Living, Land Mark Forums, Happy Thoughts etc. One just keeps on trying because he is not aware that there exists a distinguishable solution to it. This has been repeated for years together.

 

To overcome this pessimism, alternative attempt is made, that consists of organizing debates, seminars, discussions, forming forums, writing columns in newspapers, articles in magazines, telecasting programs on multiple channels  of Television, provide many suggestions, advises and unbiased opinions or thoughts.

 

     “Do not loose your heart, be positive, failure is a stepping stone to success, don’t worry, control your thoughts, be practical, do not fall prey to your emotions, eliminate bad thoughts from your mind, manage your anger and accept the fact that since birth to death, the journey of an individual is all alone. Hence do not be selfish.“  No one can get over this darker side of life and being aware of this, not a single person come out of this chain of negative thoughts.

 

Hence to be aware of one’s negative thoughts & emotions, their existence & their importance, means studying them to know about one’s emotional health. Once this is understood, our emotions can be well managed and handled.
